House of Hesed

House of Hesed believes that every life is precious, even to the end. They know that end of life care can be unfamiliar territory for individuals and their families. Hospice offers much support to families at the end of life; however they are unable to provide the 24-hour care of a family. House of Hesed will be a residence where volunteers provide round-the-clock family-type care for those who do not have family or friends to care for them. The person with a life limiting illness moves to the home as his or her life journey comes to a close. 

They believe that a loving home is needed to ensure that an individual can die with dignity and peace. There is no place like home and they seek to become an individual's home and an extension of their family.
