Health & Safety at the Conference

Current COVID-19 Protocols

We are committed to health and safety and are taking precautions to help reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 while gathering at the annual conference. We have outlined our current guidelines below; however, they are subject to change pending any new updates to state and federal guidelines. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us for clarification or more information.

Before You Arrive

Prepare your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results
We will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within three days of your arrival to the conference. Please verify that you are fully vaccinated with a WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine. Per the CDC, a person is fully vaccinated two weeks after your final dose. If you do not meet this requirement, you are not fully vaccinated. You will be required to show your vaccine card or test result upon check in.

Bring Masks
Masks will be required for all indoor gatherings and in public spaces associated with the conference. Please properly wear the mask over your nose and mouth.

Assess Yourself
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or do not feel well, please do not attend the conference. Currently, we are considering virtual and/or recorded options for conference sessions.

Check back for updates
We are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 numbers in our area and across the US. Please continue to check back for more information and updates regarding our COVID-19 safety protocols.

Once You Arrive

Physical Distancing
Please physically distance as much as possible when around groups of people. Tables in the main room will be spread out with reduced seating at each table. The breakout session rooms will also have spaced seating when available.

Registration
Please pick up your badge and conference bag early to avoid wait times. There will be alphabetical sections to help to reduce wait times.

Assess Yourself Daily
Please continue to assess yourself daily using the CDC self-assessment tool. If you experience any of these symptoms, please stay in your hotel room and contact OHN administration.

Personal Photography
We understand the last three years have been difficult and you’re excited to connect and see each other. We ask that when taking pictures with others inside that you continue to wear your mask.

Hyatt’s Commitment to Cleanliness and Safety
Our hotel is also taking steps to improve cleanliness and safety through Hyatt’s Global Care and Cleanliness Commitment. They will have hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the hotel.

As the pandemic continues to change, we will monitor guidelines and standards for large group gatherings and adjust our protocols as needed. OHN reserves the right to, at any time and at our sole discretion, modify these terms and conditions. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting.
